  • As part of the online booking process, we capture bank card details through Halaxy to confirm your booking. To read more about how Halaxy manages storing your card details, visit here. This will streamline finance administration for us both.

Automatic payments to the card captured will be processed 20 minutes into your consultation. • You sure can! We provide 1:1 consultations across Australia as an online Dietitian. It’s as easy as booking a discovery call or consultation online in your time zone so that we’re both available.

  • This is really individualised and depends on a variety of factors. Unfortunately, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer because we all have a one-of-a-kind story and experience with Endo, pelvic pain, neurodivergence and connective tissue disorders.

Generally, I schedule review appointments between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on my client’s preference.

  • Our Dietitian Brisbane wants you to get the most out of working with us, so please come prepared for your consultation.

It’s helpful if you can provide beforehand copy of your most recent blood test results from your GP, via fax 07 3544 7689.

Ensure you have completed our online new client form with your health story, a list of current supplements and medications, including brand name, dose and how often you take them. As well as your goals.

    Otherwise that should be it!

  • No, this consultation is designed only to get to know you more. Including discussing your current nutrition, medications, supplements, goals, lifestyle and start creating a personalised flexible plan.

At TAY’D, we do not provide cookie-cutter meal plans. If you need something crafted just for you? Think of this service offering as personalised tools to add to your toolkit. This service is an investment and is not included in the 1:1 dietitian consultation fees. Our Dietitian can personalise meal plans or resources that flex with your spoons and needs, and support letters for your specialists, workplace, or university. The cost is $80/hr.

  • Well, we listen to you!

As an online Dietitian, I am a university-qualified expert in nutrition. This means I’ve been trained in medical nutrition therapy and developed clinical decision-making and reasoning skills.

I also use your unique health story, medical & family history, age, goals, medications, supplements, current nutrition, recent blood test results and lifestyle.

I take all of these factors and more, like your food preferences and cultural or spiritual preferences, into account too.

  • We recommend providing as much information about your health as possible before your consultation. This allows Alannah to begin providing personalised nutrition advice to you right away.

The best and a secure way to provide TAY’D a copy of your results, is for your GP to fax us a copy of them on 07 3544 7689.

  • Unfortunately, no. During September 2025, Thrive As You Dietetics transitioned to a fully online Dietitian clinic and closed its face-to-face Dietitian Brisbane consultation availability.

Please contact us at admin@thriveasyou.com to discuss further what the options are if you need a face-to-face Dietitian consultation. If there’s enough interest in the future, never say never for re-opening face-to-face Dietitian Brisbane consultation availability!

  • You will need a couple of pieces of equipment for your 1:1 dietitian consultation at Thrive As You Dietetics:

A laptop or computer with a working camera and microphone. A smartphone works too when you’re on the go!

A reliable Wi-Fi or Internet Connection.

Ensure that you’re in a quiet and private space for the consultation; using a headset or earphones can help with this.

Our 1:1 Dietitian consultations are held through Halaxy Telehealth. Alannah sends out the Halaxy Telehealth links every Monday for the week.

A couple of minutes before your consultation, click on the Halaxy Telehealth link emailed to you a couple minutes before your appointment begins.

We are here to help. If you have any issues with the above, please contact us via email at admin@thriveasyou.com

  • At TAY’D we understand that life can happen. You can easily reschedule your consultation yourself (as long as you provide more than 24 business hours notice).

To reschedule please click on the “appointment link” in your booking confirmation email and follow the prompts to choose your new date and time.

If you need help, please contact us at admin@thriveasyou.com.

  • Our cancellation policy requires you to reschedule consultations with at least 24 business hours before your appointment if you need to cancel. If you cancel late, you’ll need to pay 75% of the appointment cost.

To help you remember, we’ll send you an SMS reminder 3 days and an email reminder 6 days before your appointment.

If you don’t show up to your appointment and don’t let us know ahead of time, you’ll be charged the full cost.

  • In Australia, all dietitians are considered nutritionists, but not all nutritionists are dietitians.

Nutritionists who do not hold a dietetics qualification cannot call themselves a “dietitian”. Nutritionists are not regulated in Australia, meaning anyone can practise as a Nutritionist regardless of qualification.

Dietitians and Accredited Practising Dietitians are the best experts to seek nutrition advice from they undergo extra training at university in areas such as medical nutrition therapy, counselling, food service, research, food science and systems, and evidence-based practice.

  • At TAY’D, we’re committed to providing a high quality services to all clients. Refer to our about us section detailing our qualifications. Our Dietitian also regularly completes additional training to provide you the most evidenced-based and up-to-date recommendations.

Given this, it is not viable to provide this level of care and bulk bill clients. The rebates from Medicare or Australian Private Health Funds, are not sufficient. Therefore, there will be out-of-pocket costs for consultations.

To see the rebates you might be eligible for, see ‘can I get private health or Medicare rebates on services?’

  • Yes, we sure are accepting new clients!

For new client referrals, please use the contact details on the contact page.
